Milwaukee Mother Arrested for Drunk Driving Four Times in One Month
A 27-year-old Milwaukee mother is facing felony drunk driving charges after police say she drove drunk four times in one month, including at least once with her child in her car. Nicole Bailey was first arrested for driving under the influence in April in Menomonee Falls. She was found guilty in May, and this week, prosecutors filed three new sets of DUI charges.
According to court records, when Bailey was arrested on April 20 at 1:00 pm, her four-year-old son was in the car without a seat belt or a child safety seat. Bailey told the arresting officer that she had been at her son’s school with her son and a friend, but that someone at the school had asked them to leave.
Bailey’s blood alcohol level was 0.24 percent, which is three times the legal limit. This was the second time in two days she was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.
On May 8 at 8:45 am, she was arrested again. This time she told police she had just dropped off her two children at school. She said she had not had anything to drink, but her blood alcohol level was 0.17 percent, more than two times the legal limit.
Bailey is due back in court today for a hearing on all three of the new DUI charges.
